49ers to host NCAA basketball tournament in 2015

The NCAA has announced that Charlotte and host Charlotte 49ers will be the site for the second and third rounds of the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. The games are slated for Friday and Sunday, March 20-22, 2015, at Time Warner Cable Arena.

Turner Construction to win award for EPIC

UNC Charlotte will honor the late Lt. Col. Paul Mikeal as part of the University’s Fallen Hero Memorial Ceremony at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center Food Court. Following the ceremony, at approximately 3:15 p.m., there will be a 21-gun salute on the east plaza next to the Cone University Center.
