Anne Brown, associate vice chancellor for finance, has announced her intention to step down, effective March 31.

“Anne has led Charlotte’s financial services team with dedication and integrity,” said Rich Amon, vice chancellor for business affairs. “She has been a great asset not only to business affairs, but to the entire campus.

Brown has served as associate vice chancellor for finance since 2017, overseeing the controller’s office, treasury services, materials management and, through June 30, 2021, the budget office.

Brown has agreed to remain with the University in a time-limited position through the completion of several major projects in her portfolio.

Greg Verret, director of treasury services, has been appointed interim associate vice chancellor for finance while a national search is conducted. Verret will retain direct oversight of treasury services during this interim appointment.
