Tenth-year women’s basketball head coach Cara Consuegra continues to make history during her Charlotte coaching career, as she picked up career Halton Arena win No. 100 Friday, Jan. 8.
No other coach in school history has had more home victories, let alone inside the primary 49ers’ home venue, which opened in 1996. She has 167 career wins, trailing all-time leader Ed Baldwin (1989 to 2001) by just eight.
