UNC Charlotte Highlights/Favorite Memory: I have lots of memories as a non-traditional, international student. But I’d have to say my first interview before I learned how to properly answer the question "Tell me about yourself?"
Professor who made a difference: Dr. Janaki Gooty; she truly wants all of her students to succeed. Dr. Gooty was tough, but she kept things very interesting in the different ways she taught. I’m grateful for her willingness to spend time with every student to ensure they all were comfortable and confident with the material.
Internship: PWC, Duke Energy.
My internships gave me real-life experience for both parts of my major: public accounting and industry.
Post-graduation plans: Building my career at Duke Energy and passing the CPA exam.
