Three UNC Charlotte alumni were honored recently with the Bank of America Alumni Network Award.
This annual award, now in its third year, is sponsored by Bank of America and the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association to recognize alumni employees who have provided superior service to the bank and shown commitment to the community.
Alexandra Hayes ’18 received the Young Professional Achievement Award, Stephen Collie ’02 was presented the Professional Achievement Award, and Ashley Striblin ’06 received the Alumni Service Award.
Hayes is an officer at Bank of America. She earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science with a concentration in information technology from UNC Charlotte. She has been a diversity and inclusion ambassador in the Applied Technology Program and a volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Durham.
Collie is region sales executive for Financial Center Sales & Merrill Edge with Bank of America/Merrill Lynch. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from UNC Charlotte. An eight-year veteran with the bank, Collie is described as an “on the ground leader, present on the frontline with his associates and managers.” He leads a region that includes the bank’s global headquarters, with more than 80 financial centers and 600 employees. Collie has served as a Niner Nation Gives ambassador at UNC Charlotte, member of the Alumni Board of Directors, founding member of the Young Alumni Chapter and member of the Student Media Advisory Board.
Striblin is vice president and senior audit supervisor at Bank of America. She is busy in the community, including as a full-time foster parent and respite provider, Junior Achievement volunteer and advocate and as the COO of Operations for the Virtual Chapter of the Parents and Caregivers Network. In this latter role, Striblin provides oversight for committees that are responsible for helping Bank of America employees with parenting and caregiving responsibilities.
