Stephanie Burt ’95, ’98 M.A. was featured recently on the cover of Charleston City Paper. She was interviewed for “On the Mic,” an article that focused on local podcasters in Charleston, South Carolina.
A native of Charlotte, Burt hosts the weekly podcast “The Southern Fork,” featuring chefs, farmers, bakers and others in the culinary landscape from throughout the South.
Burt completed bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from the University. A former instructor of English and American Studies at the University, Burt also is a freelance writer whose work has appeared in a number of outlets including the Washington Post, Conde Nast Traveler, Charleston Magazine and Travel and Leisure.
