Preliminary feedback requested on IT assessment

Wednesday, August 22, 2018

Feedback is integral to large-scale decisions, and the chancellor recently requested it via a message to faculty and staff. Consultant BerryDunn’s preliminary findings from the university-wide IT Organizational Review are available. The report is preliminary since the Cabinet asked BerryDunn to provide more information on how their recommendations will affect distributed IT staff.

BerryDunn will conduct another assessment during the fall 2018 semester of all distributed IT positions. Once completed, the consultants will provide a revised preliminary report in early spring 2019 that will be available to faculty and staff for review and feedback. On-site meetings will be held during this time, with a final decision from the chancellor targeted for late spring/early summer 2019.

An assessment timeline and several other resources are online: University IT Assessment webpage. A link to the feedback form is there, too.
