Bertram Spence, 57, a building environmental technician with Student Activity Center and Venue Management (SACVM) in the Division of Student Affairs died on Monday, July 16, at the Duke Medical Pavilion in Durham, North Carolina.
Spence joined the University in March 2015 and was a member of the third-shift team in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center.
Holloway Memorial Funeral Home (off of Hwy 55 and Riddle Road in Durham, North Carolina) will be the location for the visitation from 6 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 25.
