Conference to focus on clinical research careers

The Center for Professional and Applied Ethics is cosponsoring “The Evolution of Careers in Clinical Research: How Do You Fit in as a Clinical Research Professional?” on Friday, Oct. 28, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center Salons.

This all-day event will provide updates on matters of interest to those involved in clinical research. It will begin with a discussion of ethics topics, followed by various guest speakers and a panel discussion. Scheduled speakers include Teresa Dunlap and Daisy DeWeese-Gatt from PPD, Allyson Labban from Smith Moore Leatherwood, Barbara Pennington from UNC Wilmington and Terri Hinkley from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

The Greater Charlotte Association of Clinical Research Professionals is cosponsoring this event. More information and details on registration are on the web. Faculty and students can register to attend at no charge.
