New program to encourage wellness with points incentives

New program to encourage wellness with points incentives
Monday, January 26, 2015

The Advisory Committee to the Chancellor for Employee Health and Wellness, as part of its mission, develops programs to emphasize healthy behaviors among University faculty and staff members. New for 2015 is the “ACCEHW Wellness Points System.”

This novel initiative assigns points values for various wellness activities, and faculty and staff members can earn incentives based upon their semester point totals.

For example, employees who attend an ACCEHW “lunch and learn” can earn three points or participate in the Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less program and earn 10 points.

Find out how to earn wellness points on the ACCEHW website.
