The website Best College Values has ranked UNC Charlotte’s Student Union at number six on its list of “30 Most Amazing Student Unions.”
In determining its compilation, the website examined architecture and exterior appeal, facilities, interior appeal and tradition when ranking student unions across the country.
In writing about the University’s Student Union, Best College Values stated, “(the Student Union) is more than just a learning center for its enrolled students. The amenities and services offered to everyone from current students to alumni, faculty, staff and potential students and visitors embodies and embraces the attitude of the University as a whole. The University of North Carolina at Charlotte’s core values and academic success have been responsible for the Student Union’s expansion, and the most recent addition in 2009 offers all members of its community the best in dining, educational, and social experiences.”
