Art faculty to discuss exhibitions on Jan. 15 'Live Wire'

David Brodeur,  associate professor of graphic design, and Thomas Schmidt, assistant professor of interdisciplinary 3D studio, will be the guests on the Jan.15 edition of “The Live Wire,” Inside UNC Charlotte’s streaming webcast. They will discuss their exhibitions on display in the Rowe Galleries. 

Brodeur’s  show “Semantics, Semiotics & the Second Amendment” takes a critical look at some of the issues surrounding the gun culture in the United States. Schmidt's “Data Mine” draws upon installation art and architecture to orchestrate and capture a variety of material moments for the viewer to experience and unfold.

Employees can watch “The Live Wire” at their desks or on their mobile devices starting at 2 p.m., Thursday.
