Courses and information sessions for January include:

Meeting and Event Planning Information Session                          Wednesday, Jan. 7
6 to 7 p.m.                                                                                                    UNC Charlotte Center City
This free information session will provide individuals with the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Meeting and Event Planning Certificate program, which is designed for new and aspiring meeting and event managers, travel agents and hoteliers, as well as those considering a career change.

Human Resource/Learning and Development Information Session          Thursday, Jan. 8
6 to 7 p.m.                                                                                                    UNC Charlotte Center City
This free information session will provide individuals with the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Human Resource and Learning and Development Certificate programs, individual courses and the PHR/SPHR Certification Exam Preparation course. UNC Charlotte offers human resource and learning and development courses that will meet the needs of those individuals who are new to the HR and training industry, who are seasoned professionals looking for additional training and who are PHR/SPHR/GPHR certified and trying to earn HRCI and continuing education credit.

Project Management Information Session                                       Tuesday, Jan. 13
8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.                                                                                               UNC Charlotte Center City
This free information session will provide individuals the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Project Management Certificate program. The project management courses will provide participants with the skills needed to accelerate their careers, whether they are currently serving as project managers or are professionals in another field and wish to transition into project management. The certificate meets the project management education requirements to qualify to take the PMPĀ® Exam.

Web Design and Publishing Information Session                            Tuesday, Jan. 27
6 to 7 p.m.                                                                                                    UNC Charlotte Center City
This free information session will provide individuals the opportunity to ask questions and learn more about the Web Design and Publishing Certificate program, which is designed for individuals who are seeking the knowledge and expertise to build and maintain their own website, whether for their company or for themselves.
