Amy Palmer with the College of Education’s Department of Special Education and Child Development won a $250 U.S. Airways gift card as part of a Giving Green raffle. The drawing was held to encourage financial support for agencies within the State Employees Combined Campaign.
Giving Green ringmasters Darin Spease and Michele Howard are offering another $250 U.S. Airways gift card in support of the Arts & Science Council. Employees who make a gift to the ASC by 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 17, will be entered in the random drawing. Faculty or staff members who already contributed to ASC prior to Monday, Oct. 13, can qualify by making a one-time donation by check or credit card of any amount to the ASC through the Giving Green website. This applies to the Giving Green Sweepstakes Days on Wednesday, Oct. 15 and 22, too.
Also, employees who would enjoy helping out at an area nonprofit can sign up for one or more of the Giving Green Volunteer Week opportunities.
