The Dean of Students Office is seeking two commencement speakers and two bell ringers for UNC Charlotte’s winter commencement, which is Saturday, Dec. 13, in Halton Arena, located in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center. Faculty and staff are requested to encourage students graduating in December to apply for one of these prestigious honors.
Prospective speakers should represent the University well and should possess good speaking skills, character and school spirit. Bell ringer is an honorable tradition that recognizes two outstanding student leaders who have demonstrated exemplary 49er spirit. All applicants must have a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA and be in good disciplinary standing.
Interested students can complete the online application for speaker and bell ringer. The deadline to apply is Friday, Oct. 17.
