University to commemorate Sept. 11 anniversary

The University will host a variety of activities in observance of the 13th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

Activities sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs include:

  • Complimentary coffee and donuts for the student veteran community from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Office of Veteran Student Services’ new location in Barnard Building
  • A participatory outdoor flag installation to honor the the 2,977 victims from Sept. 11, 2001, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the College of Education/College of Health and Human Services plaza; the Office of Student Activities and the Office of Volunteer Outreach are organizing this event
