Theresa Drew, a member of the UNC Charlotte Board of Trustees and a managing partner with Deloitte, was honored at Leadership Charlotte's 2014 Legacy Awards. This annual event recognizes Charlotte leaders who create lasting change and a measurable difference in the community.
Drew, who received the Newcomer of the Year Award, was praised by Leadership Charlotte officials for her ability to influence positive change and her dedication to community service.
In 2011, Drew came to Charlotte to lead the Carolinas practice of Deloitte and started making connections in the business and nonprofit sectors to learn the needs of the community. She serves with many different organizations and supports a number of causes, including Go Red for Women, the Arts & Science Council, the Charlotte Chamber, United Way and Women Executives.
