The Charlotte 49ers Athletic Foundation, which is the fundraising arm of the 49ers Athletics Department, will host the 31st annual Great Gold Rush Auction, Saturday, May 31, in Halton Arena.
The gala regularly attracts nearly 600 attendees who have the opportunity to bid on more than 1,300 items valued at close to $400,000. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a silent auction. Heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening. The live auction of 49 premium items will start at approximately 8 p.m. Tapas and desserts are served during the live auction.
Among the Items available for bid are artwork, electronics, furniture, home and garden supplies, sports equipment and memorabilia, get-away vacations, services and one-of-a-kind experiences.
All proceeds from the event benefit the 49ers Athletics Scholarship Fund. Individual tickets to the Great Gold Rush Auction are $100; a table of 10 can be purchased for $1,000. To register, call 704-687-4950.
