The Division for University Advancement will host a retirement reception in honor of Jane Watson from 3 to 5 p.m., Wednesday, May 14, at the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen. A brief program will be at 3:30 p.m.
Watson, who is senior director of events and special projects, is retiring after 24 years of service to UNC Charlotte. She joined the University in 1990 as the special assistant to the chancellor for campus events after three years at UNC Chapel Hill, where she was special events director.
