Faculty members interested in integrating civic engagement and community service into a course or curriculum are encouraged to attend the 2014 Service Learning Showcase, scheduled for 10 to 11:30 a.m., Friday, May 2, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center, Salons A and B.
According to the Center for Teaching and Learning, one of the showcase cosponsors along with N.C. Campus Compact at UNC Charlotte, the event will feature presentations that share case studies, best practices, lessons learned and innovations in the use of service learning as a teaching and learning pedagogy.
