Members of the campus community voted on the top three recipes and a fan favorite at the recent sixth annual Staff Council Chili Cook-off.
Jeremi Watkins, assistant director of student financial aid, placed first in the competition; he won a $75 gift card. This was Watkin’s second consecutive victory in the annual event.
Second place and a $50 gift card went to Leslie Robinson, Center for Wellness Promotion, for her white chicken chili.
Financial aid counselor Erin Hege came in third and won a $25 gift card.
Brien Clapton, facilities management, Zone 2, won a crockpot for being named the fan favorite; he prepared his “Great Northern Chili.”
Ten entries comprised the contest, sponsored by the UNC Charlotte Staff Council.
