Campus presentations by financial aid director candidates scheduled

Open presentations by two candidates for the position of director of financial aid have been scheduled.

The candidates, Bruce Blackmon and Jane Hojan-Clark, will speak on the topic “The Use of Technology in Financial Aid.” Blackmon’s talk is at 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 11; Hojan-Clark will speak at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 14. Both sessions will be in Reese Building, Room 524.

Blackmon is director of financial aid and veteran’s affairs at Richmond Community College. He also served as director of the Office of Financial Aid at UNC Pembroke. He holds a Master of Public Administration from UNC Pembroke and a bachelor’s degree from Coker College.

Hojan-Clark, who holds a Ph.D. in education, is executive director for the Department of Financial Aid, Student Employment and Military Education Benefits at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Prior to that, she was executive secretary of the Wisconsin Higher Educational Aids Board.
