Students from the Department of Dance will perform live with the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, April 2, as part of the symphony’s Debbie Phillips Classical Concerts for Students.

Roger Kalia, assistant conductor for the symphony, will direct the program “Symphonic Dances from Across the World.” Two performances will be presented to students in grades three to eight. UNC Charlotte dance students will perform two works, “Romanian Folk Dances” and “Hoedown” from the ballet “Rodeo,” both choreographed by Delia Neil, associate professor of dance.
