The UNC Charlotte Writing Resources Center is organizing its first-ever writing competition, designed to highlight the broad range of writing/writers that the center welcomes.
Submissions are being sought in three categories: WRC Best Piece, Academic Best Piece and Personal Best Piece. Winners will be selected by student tutors who work in the center; a cash prize of $50 will be awarded. Winning entries will be published on the center website, too.
Faculty and staff members are encouraged to promote this competition. Entries are due by Friday, March 21. Details about the requirements for each category are on the Writing Resources Center website.
