Construction to close section of Cameron Boulevard

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

Due to construction of the 408-bed residential building Martin Hall, a section of Cameron Boulevard will be closed temporarily to regular vehicle access for approximately nine to 12 weeks starting Wednesday, Feb. 26. A travel lane will be available for buses and SafeRide only. Officials anticipate the section to re-open prior to commencement.

The affected area is at the intersection of Mary Alexander and Cameron boulevards, near the Student Health Center and Hawthorn Hall.

A walkway will be available for pedestrians. Vehicles will be unable to use this area; detour routes will be posted. Additionally, periodic updates will be issued until the road is re-opened.
