Alumni and friends of the University are invited to a reception “Celebrating African American Legacies” at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 20, at UNC Charlotte Center City. This event recognizes former students and graduates of the University and Charlotte College, and it is co-sponsored by the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association and Black Alumni Chapter of the UNC Charlotte Alumni Association and the Multicultural Resource Center, J. Murrey Atkins Library, Office of Educational Outreach, Africana Studies Department and the Black Student Union
The cost is $10/person and includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages
