Retirement reception scheduled for UA’s Lambert

Wednesday, January 22, 2014

The Division for University Advancement will host a retirement reception for Marian Lambert from 3 to 5 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen.

Lambert, executive assistant to the special assistant to the chancellor for constituent relations, is retiring from the University with nearly 30 years of service. She began her UNC Charlotte tenure in the Psychology Department, later working in the Office of the Dean of the College of Arts and Science (now the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences). Lambert also held positions in the Office of the Chancellor, the Special Events Office, UNC Charlotte Uptown and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for University Relations and Community Affairs, before it was merged with the Division for University Advancement in January 2011.

University advancement officials note that “Marian has many friends and colleagues across campus, and she would like to share her excitement of her ‘new start’ with each and every one of you.”
