'Late Night Breakfast' seeking volunteers

Wednesday, November 27, 2013

Faculty and staff volunteers are needed to assist with the “Late Night Breakfast,” an annual event for UNC Charlotte students. Sponsored by the Office of Student Activities and Chartwells, this  de-stressing event  will be from 10 p.m. to midnight, Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the Residence Dining Hall (RDH).

In addition to the free breakfast, there will be music, games, contests and more activities for students.

Judith Rowles, associate director of student activities for programs, is asking faculty and staff to help at the event. Volunteers are needed to serve and greet students and to assist with the games. They should arrive at the RDH by 9:30 p.m.

“Volunteering at Late Night Breakfast is a great way to show students that they support them in their coming exams,” Rowles said.  She added, faculty and staff volunteers represent “a goodwill gesture to students – and of course, it is a lot fun.”

Prospective volunteers should email Rowles at jrowles1@uncc.edu.
