The Novant Health Breast Center’s mobile unit will be on campus from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, at the loading dock behind the Barnhardt Student Activity Center.
According to Novant Health officials, mammograms are covered as a preventative screening every 366 days starting at age 40 for most insurance plans; prospective participants should bring their insurance card.
Appointments are not required, but they are recommended. To reserve a time in advance, call 704-384-7226.
The Advisory Committee to the Chancellor for Employee Health and Wellness is sponsoring this event.
