The Office of Academic Services will hold series of workshops for faculty and staff academic advisors as part of its Academic Advisor Development program.
The first workshop sessions, scheduled for 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday, July 15, in the Friday Building, Room 339, will focus on Banner, Niner Advisor and the basics of advising.
A second workshop series will focus on advising student with disabilities, unique needs of transfer students, how to increase the knowledge of academic services and referrals and the impact of academic policy changes on advising; they are set for 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, in Fretwell Building, Room 107.
