CCI students to defend dissertations

Wei Song, a doctoral student in bioinformatics, and Andrew Besmer, a doctoral student in software and information systems, will defend their dissertations on July 9 and 11, respectively.

Song’s defense of “Modeling, Simulation and Analysis of the Reaction Field for Electrostatic Interactions in Aqueous Solution” will be at noon, Tuesday, July 9, in the Bioinformatics Building, Room 105. Donald Jacobs is the dissertation advisor.

Besmer will defend “Configuration of Application Permissions with Contextual Access Control” at 3 p.m., Thursday, July 11, in Woodward Hall, Room 338. Heather Lipford is the dissertation advisor.
