Football head coach Brad Lambert recently announced the signing of the Charlotte 49ers second class of players.

The class includes three junior college transfers, a member of USA Football’s U-19 National Team, four players who participated in the North Carolina-South Carolina Shrine Bowl and two more who participated in South Carolina’s annual North-South game. The 19-man class includes 16 players from North and South Carolina, including five who played high school football in the Charlotte area.

In addition to this signee class, the 49ers previously announced three new players who transferred into the program in December: Marshall transfer CJ Crawford, Air Force transfer Mikel Hunter and Georgia Military College transfer Caleb Clayton-Molby. More information is online.

The 49ers signed their first class in February 2012. The team held workouts and practices in fall 2012 in preparation for the inaugural season this year.
