Interested fans aslo could stop by the 49ers Athletic Ticket Office, located at the base of the clock tower adjacent to the Barnhardt Student Activity Center.

Full-season tickets and three-game mini-plans are on sale, too. In addition, the 49ers have added three theme days, this year.

Current UNC Charlotte faculty and staff members are eligible for special ticket offers by calling the 49ers ticket office.

The Charlotte 49ers will open their fifth season of football on Sept. 1 at Eastern Michigan, followed by a road game at Kansas State, Sept. 9.  The 49ers home opener will be Sept. 16 against North Carolina A&T, and the 49ers wrap up the non-conference season at home on Sept. 23 against Georgia State.

Charlotte, which is in its third season at the FBS level as a member of Conference USA, will host C-USA foes Marshall (Oct. 7), UAB (Oct. 21), Middle Tennessee (Nov. 11) and Florida Atlantic (Nov. 25).

Head coach Brad Lambert welcomes 12 starters from last year, including r-Jr. QB Hasaan Klugh (Concord.) and r-Sr. LB Karrington King (Charlotte).

Klugh led the 49ers to a 3-4 record in his seven starts last year while King is within 12 tackles of Larry Ogunjobi’s career record for tackles.
