UNC Charlotte International Film Festival to run March 15 through April 7

Contemporary films from around the world will be shown as part of the 2017 UNC Charlotte International Film Festival.

The festival will kick off Wednesday, March 15, with a screening of the French film “May Allah Bless France” and “The Salesman” from Iran in the Student Union Movie Theatre at 5 and 7 p.m., respectively.

Films from China, Columbia, Cuba, France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Peru, Russia, Spain, Syria, Turkey and Venezuela will be included in this year’s festival.

 The UNC Charlotte International Film Festival and any related special events are free and open to the public; all films will have subtitles.
