Autumn is a great time to plant in anticipation of spring blossoms, and the annual UNC Charlotte Botanical Gardens Fall Plant Sale will feature a wide selection of shrubs, perennials, wildflowers, ferns, cool weather annuals and native plants.
The sale is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday and Saturday, Oct. 14-15, at the McMillan Greenhouse. Staff members will be on hand to answer questions. Sale proceeds support operations of the gardens and greenhouse.
Members of the campus community and stewards of the Botanical Gardens can attend a preview sale from noon to 3 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 13.
