The Office of Legal affairs will hold its annual fall symposium on Thursday, Sept. 29, in the Barnhardt Student Activity Center.
This year’s event will focus on the intersection of law and technology. Session topics will include:
- Student and employee social media use
- Copyright trolling
- Electronic document management
- Cyberstalking and revenge pornography
- Legal implications of big data
- FERPA, contracts and public records laws
Registration information will be released in early September. The Fall Legal Symposium will be open to faculty, staff and students and will include lunch and refreshments.
