The Division for University Advancement will host an introduction to campaigns session from 8 to 9 a.m., Friday, April 24, in the Student Union, Multipurpose Room.
Judy Kirk, a senior associate at Bentz Whaley Flessner, will lead the session. Kirk is a nationally recognized expert in institutional-related foundations and volunteer boards and on growing development programs. Previously, she was executive vice president and chief operating officer of the University of Minnesota Foundation. During her 11-year tenure, she directed “Campaign Minnesota,” the university’s comprehensive $1.3 billion capital campaign. Currently, she is helping the University Advancement Division team.
During the April 24 session, Kirk will address what a capital campaign means for UNC Charlotte and its departments, colleges and units.
