Employees who feel overwhelmed by taking care of life’s many details, or who simply don’t have the time, can take advantage of a benefit program coordinated by the University’s Human Resources Department. This benefit is available to full- and part-time permanent staff and faculty employees.
ComPsych Guidance Resources is UNC Charlotte’s provider for a variety of employee resources. The company’s work-life specialists will conduct research, provide referrals and customize resources for a number of topics including but not limited to:

- Vacation planning
At the ComPsych Guidance Resources website, employees can find information on a variety of issues. There are timely articles, videos, self-assessments and an “ask the expert” feature to get personal responses to individual inquiries.
Resources on child/elder care, financial planning or health and wellness issues can be found quickly. ComPsych also provides financial and legal resources with access to certified public accountants and attorneys who are available for telephone consultations.
