The UNC Charlotte Continuing Education Office is sponsoring "Estate Planning: Getting Your House in Order" from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, March 19, at UNC Charlotte Center City. Part of the office’s Brown Bag Series, this event is free, but advanced registration is required.
In the area of estate planning, there has been a dramatic increase in the use of revocable living trusts. Employees are encouraged to bring their lunch and gain insight on how to incorporate the use of revocable living trusts to avoid probate administration upon disability or death, to maintain control of one’s estate, to reduce or eliminate estate taxation and/or to maintain privacy of an estate.
