Effective midnight through noon Thursday, Feb. 26, UNC Charlotte will be in Operating Status 3, emergency closure.
- Classes will be canceled. Faculty will provide direction for the completion of class work.
- Essential employees, both essential for weather and essential for special events, should report for duty as directed by supervisors.
- The campus will be closed with the exception of the UNC Board of Governors meeting.
University officials will continue to monitor campus conditions throughout the night and will update the status for Thursday afternoon (Feb. 26) by approximately 9 a.m. Thursday.
Any employee who is assigned to support the Board of Governors’ meeting is designated as “essential” and is required to report as scheduled on Thursday.
Personnel reporting for duty should monitor the UNC Charlotte Parking and Transportation Services (PATS) website to learn of available, safe parking facilities.
