The Office of Parent and Family Services and the Alumni Association invite Niner Nation family members to the 2014 Fall Family Festival on Saturday, Nov. 15.
“The Office of Parent and Family Services is excited for the Niner Nation family to have a second opportunity to attend a 49ers tailgate and football game,” said Kesha Williams, assistant director for parent and family services. “We are expecting an even bigger crowd then Family Weekend.”
Online registration for the festival is open to all students, alumni, family members and the community. The festival includes tailgating and a football game.
Activities that are part of the festival include:
- Fall Family Festival check-in, Alumni Tailgate Village at 9 a.m. Parents and family members who have registered for the Fall Family Festival will need to check-in at the registration booth to collect their football tickets. UNC Charlotte students will order their football tickets through Ticket Return. Parents, family members and students will be seated in the same section
- Niner Nation Family and Alumni Tailgate Celebration, Alumni Tailgate Village 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Parents, family members and students can enjoy food and beverages, live music and entertainment, kid-friendly activities, drawings and giveaways
- The 49er football “Team Walk” provides attendees the chance to cheer the 49er football team as players walk to Richardson Stadium escorted by the Gold Dusters and drum line.
- The Charlotte 49ers take on the Wesley College Wolverines at noon
Fall Family Festival package includes an alumni football tailgate ticket ($10 per person) and a football game ticket ($10/person)*.
*Ticket price does not include parking
Niner Nation Family members are encouraged to register early as festival space is limited.
