• Join Communication across Curriculum to learn how you can have productive conversations with students about the ethics of generative AI tools like ChatGPT. This CxC webinar, scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25, will provide an overview of AI’s ethical implications and how to make informed decisions about AI use.
• Interested in community-engaged research or teaching and don’t know where to start? Join Kim Buch in the Engaged Faculty Lounge to chat from 1 to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25, in the Sycamore Building, Room 302. 
• Reminder: The Center for Wellness Promotion is hosting a virtual Green Dot Training from 2 to 3:30 p.m., Wednesday Oct. 25. Registration is required through the Learning and Development Portal.
• At noon, Wednesday, Oct. 25, join the Phi Beta Delta international honor society as Michael Putman, chair and professor of the Department of Reading and Elementary Education, discusses his recent Fulbright experiences at “The Necessity of Travel for Understanding: An Educator’s Fulbright Journey of Discovery” at the College of Health and Human Services, Room 207.

• Johns Hopkins University Professor Yascha Mounk will discuss his book “The Identity Trap,” which focuses on how the search for equality is harmed by the obsession over group identity such as race or sexual orientation. Register to attend this virtual event, scheduled for 5 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 25.
