  • OneIT will complete critical maintenance to fix a software issue with some networking hardware Friday, Oct. 6, between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m.
  • The 2023 Consolidated Appropriations Act contains significant changes to employer-provided retirement plans. More information and a message from the UNC System can be found on the human resources website.
  • Learn how faculty are implementing Gradescope to streamline grading, assessment and feedback management in their courses. Sign up for a webinar.

  • The Office of Diversity and Inclusion has launched new, voluntary learning opportunities this fall that offer faculty, staff and students forums for discussion and exchanging ideas on a variety of topics.
  • The Student Health Center, in conjunction with student volunteers from the Red Cross Club, is hosting an American Red Cross blood drive Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the Cone University Center, Lucas Room. Go to RedCrossBlood.org and enter "UNCC" to schedule an appointment.
  • Leaders of student organizations can network, and obtain updates from and provide feedback to the Office of Student Involvement during town halls held twice each semester. Upcoming town halls are 5 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11, and Nov. 15 in the Popp Martin Student Union Theater.
  • The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation will host Golden Hack: Impact Weekend Oct. 20-22. Open to all UNC Charlotte students, participants will collaborate to design, develop and pitch ideas that solve real-world problems. Expand your skill sets, vie for cash prizes and work with industry and University mentors.
  • The first Julius Chambers Day will be held Friday, Oct. 6, at 9 a.m. at Julius Chambers High School. This event will honor the life and legacy of the prominent civil rights attorney who devoted his life to fighting for justice and equality.
