FACULTY & STAFF ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The UNC Charlotte Alumni Association Awards honor alumni and friends whose careers or actions have been distinguished by significant accomplishments or through extraordinary service to alumni, faculty, students and communities. The nomination deadline is Monday, Oct. 2.
- Graduate program directors and graduate education champions are invited to the Fall Graduate Education Summit to learn more about new initiatives and opportunities for graduate programs; the summit is 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 22, in the Atkins Library, Halton Reading Room.
- The Center for Wellness Promotion will host a Green Dot Training from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 12, in the Popp Martin Student Union, Room 200. Registration is required through the Learning and Development Portal: log in and search for “green dot.”
- Congratulations to the newly tenured faculty promoted to associate professor and the 26 faculty promoted to professor. View a digital display of their scholarly and creative work on the Office of the Provost website.
- Please review the new University Policy 602.12 “Revenue Generating Activities.”
Student Announcements
- Applications for this year's Niner 9 closes Sunday, Sept. 10, at 11:59 p.m. Nine students who exemplify the values and spirit of Niner Nation are chosen as the Niner 9, and one outstanding student is named the Golden Niner at the 2023 Homecoming football game.
- Interested in graduate school? Come to the Belk College of Business Graduate Programs Open House from 9 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 9. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with faculty, current students and alumni while getting an inside look at the college’s nationally ranked programs.
