- Reminder: April 30, 2021, will be a Day of Remembrance for UNC Charlotte with no classes scheduled. Virtual and in-person activities will commemorate the two-year anniversary of the campus shooting that took the lives of Reed Parlier and Riley Howell, injured four classmates and affected all of Niner Nation.

- Film Screen with a Dean: Atkins Library Dean Anne Cooper Moore invites you to a virtual panel discussion on “Wilmington on Fire,” a feature-length documentary directed by Christopher Everett that chronicles the Wilmington massacre of 1898. Registration is required for this event, scheduled from 2 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 28.
- Outage Reminder: Expect blips in connectivity to wireless/wired networks, my.uncc.edu and other University systems Saturday, May 1.
- Senior Celebration Week kicks off today! From April 26-29, the UNC Charlotte Young Alumni Chapter will give away special prizes to graduating seniors, including gift cards to local companies, Niner gear, diploma frames and much more! Register for a chance to win.

49ers Track and Field team posts seven event wins on first day of Charlotte Invitational: The Charlotte 49ers track and field team had a strong showing on the first day of the Charlotte Invitational after totaling 28 personal records and claiming seven event wins, six second-place finishes and eight third-place outings.

- 4/27: Join Atkins Out Loud, featuring a trumpet ensemble from UNC Charlotte, Tuesday, April 27, at 1 p.m. in the Halton Reading Room.
- 4/27: The Office of Identity, Equity and Engagement and Dear Asian Youth collaborate to discuss how to fight anti-Asian racism without being anti-Black or pro-police, the model minority myth and how to support the Asian American Pacific Islander community.
- 4/27: “The Forty-Niner Forum Speakers Series Presents: An Evening with Alex Highsmith,” features a Q&A talk with the former Charlotte 49ers football player and current Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker. The event takes place at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 27.
