	3. French Connection Commonly referred to as the “Face of French” at UNC Charlotte, Michele Bissière has supported nearly every major department programmatic initiative of the last two decades. The French professor is among the recipients of the 2018 UNC Board of Governors Awards for Excellence in Teaching.
