Presidential conventions happen once every four years College and university students from across the country will travel to Charlotte to participate in the Washington Center’s Democratic National Convention Academic Seminar from Aug. 25 to Sept. 7.

Insurance can be complicated, but the Student Health Center’s Kelly Proctor assists students and parents through the entire procedure. As insurance coordinator, Proctor is one of two individuals who administer the University’s student health insurance plan and waiver process.

As an academic advisor for the College of Health and Human Services, Sara Potts focuses on helping students navigate their undergraduate careers in preparation for either graduate school or professional careers. Each semester and during the summer, Kelly Franklin welcomes hundreds of international students seeking greater English language proficiency onto campus. As director of the English Language Training Institute, housed in the Office of International Programs, Franklin has oversight for all facets of the operation.
