The economy is clicking along, and people should feel mostly optimistic about 2024, UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business experts told attendees at a Charlotte Business Journal Economic Outlook event held at The Dubois Center at UNC Charlotte Center City March 14.
The 2024 Faculty Professional Development Showcase will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 10 in Atkins Library, Halton Reading Room.
On March 8, Michael Whatley ’91 was elected co-chair of the Republican National Committee ahead of November’s national election. Whatley previously served as chairman of the North Carolina Republican Party since 2019.
The design and construction teams responsible for the complete renovation of Social 704 in the Popp Martin Student Union were awarded a Certificate of Merit by the State Building Commission in the category of Excellence in Project Implementation. The award was presented during the annual state construction conference March 7.
