Bernard ’91 and Loraine ’88 Felder created the Felder Charitable Fund Scholarship to provide renewable scholarship support to high school seniors who are members of a population historically underrepresented at the University.
The newly created Jim Mabry Scholarship for Residence Life will provide financial support for residential student leaders with demonstrated financial need who have made meaningful contributions to the on-campus, residential experience.
After consultation with the Mecklenburg County Health Department, the University has made changes to its COVID-19 quarantine recommendations in accordance with recent updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The changes are effective immediately.
Through campus mitigation efforts, undergraduate and graduate students gained valuable hands-on experience that will inform their future research opportunities and career paths.
The order requires individuals to stay home between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. each day and takes effect Friday, Dec. 11, 2020. It remains in place until at least Jan. 8, 2021.
