The Charlotte 49ers Fan Fest will be from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 18, at the Barnhardt Student Activity Center, which houses Halton Arena.
The Fan Fest is designed to kick off the 2018 season and will include family-friendly activities, autograph signings and the opportunity to meet 49ers coaches and staff members.
Players from the 49ers football and volleyball teams will be on hand to sign autographs. A Kids Fun Zone will include inflatables, face painting and a balloon artist. There will be a digital phone booth, too.
First-year Director of Athletics Mike Hill, head football coach Brad Lambert and head volleyball coach Karen Weatherington are expected to be on hand.
In addition, 730 The Game, ESPN Charlotte, will broadcast live from this free event.
